2020 - 2023 LoopSession Recordings Highlights
Improvisational sessions with guitar +keys and looper pedal. Nord Electo 2, Fender squire, Boss RC-1 looper pedal, Donner digital delay pedal. Typically 10-20 min sessions, single track overlay looping, minimal editing, recording via iphone voice memo app placed in room with amp. Plenty of wrong notes, the intention of these sessions were creative exploratory meditations. Each time was an exercise in hanging up your hang ups, no wrong ideas, find a melody, build a world.
Inspired from the greek word Eudaimonia meaning ‘happiness’ or ‘flourishing, these highlights from 3yrs of improv sessions are some of the moments when curiosity and creativity were thriving

2012 - 2014
As new resident to the U.S. Northwest, located in a small cottage at the base of Washington’s Cascade mountain range, Nick recorded sessions with a locally found 1951 Hamilton upright piano. Boogie Man Music shop near by was the source of many new/used instruments acquired at that time. 12-string guitar, 6-strgin Gretch Resinator, 6-string banjo, mandolin, yamaha guitelele.
exploring creativity became my focus in Tucson, pedal looping, bass fingering, hearing melody and through lines.
